Some of our most active organizational donors and contributors are listed below. These organizations play a vital role in our success. We are deeply grateful for their support.
Breedlove Dehydrated Foods
Breedlove, itself a 501(c)(3) not for profit, is a dehydration plant and packaging operation that is dedicated to providing nutritious and
wholesome dehydrated vegetable products to hunger and famine relief projects in the United States and around the world. It is the first large-scale vegetable processing plant in the world devoted to feeding hungry people. Breedlove annually gifts Fabretto with a generous donation of its dehydrated vegetable soup mix which, when mixed with water, forms the base for stews, soups and other menu selections used in Fabretto’s lunch program.
Brinson Foundation
The Brinson Foundation has been a very important grantor of scholarship funding for Fabretto’s vocational and university students. This foundation’s ongoing support is permitting us to approve scholarships for an ever increasing number of young adults looking to pursue advanced job and career skills education.
Cashel Foundation
The Cashel Foundation is another organization that supports us with an annual grant to underwrite the tuition expenses of some of our university and vocational education students. Cashel’s long standing relationship with Fabretto has allowed many young men and women to pursue their goals of becoming professionals in their chosen fields of study.
Food for the Poor
Through Food for the Poor’s alliance with the American Nicaraguan Foundation (see Implementation Partners), FPF has received funds for building new classrooms and lunch halls, installing computer labs and developing the farm and forestry projects. Food for the Poor has also been instrumental in helping us get donations of in-kind goods from the United States to Nicaragua.
Matthew 25 Ministries
Since its founding in1990 by Pastor Wendell Mettey, Matthew 25 Ministries has provided immeasurable support through valuable contributions of in-kind items– including medicines, school supplies, and tools for our vocational skills programs and school uniforms for the kids.
National Geographic Society
The National Geographic Society has generously donated hundreds of used computers, desks, chairs, office and educational equipment to Fabretto through its corporate recycling program. The receipt of these in-kind gifts has been a major factor in our ability to build our computer labs at our five program centers and outfit new classrooms and office space as we expand our program offerings.
Photonics Graphics
Photonics Graphics is a graphic design and web development firm that has partnered with FCF to provide pro-bono and discounted web services in order to help us develop our web presence in a professional and effective manner.
Tin Roof Foundation
The Tin Roof Foundation, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been instrumental in many facets of FPF’s work. The foundation has provided funds for the expansion of classrooms, lunch halls and playing fields. It is also an important sponsor of our college and vocational education scholarship program.
