House Parties are a way for our supporters to introduce their friends, families and co-workers to Fabretto by hosting a private party or event for a smaller group, using marketing and other materials provided by the foundation to help with outreach. Please click on the link on the left for information on hosting or attending a Fabretto House Party.
In its first year, the Foundation raised $4,500 with a back-yard barbeque and “passing the hat” amongst family and friends. Today, over 300 volunteers in Chicago, Washington D.C., Miami, Seattle, Cincinnati, New York City and elsewhere help us raise over $700,000 every year.
The events are a great way to celebrate and connect with friends – both old and new – raise funds for our work, and honor the memory of Father Fabretto. Events take on the style and flair of the cities and volunteer committees that host them.
Join the Fabretto Family – by serving on event committees or attending our events - there a number of ways you can get involved and make a real difference. Committees raise funds for the children with auctions, raffles, bowling tournaments, dinner dances, fiestas, pig roasts and rum tastings – in other words, in any way they feel most comfortable. What matters is that we encourage everyone get involved in the way that they can most effectively help the kids.
