Our Night for Niños Events happen throughout the year. As you will see below, each event reflects the personality of its Volunteer Organizing Committee.
Chicago is the original home of the Fabretto Children’s Foundation and this event is the longest running. Our support in this city runs deep and the Night for Niños here is always a wonderful mix of long-time friends and new supporters. This event is also where we honor our Volunteer of the Year. The evening, which takes place in the Fall, usually includes a lively party, buffet style dinner, open bar, a silent auction and a raffle.
Our newest event, Cincinnati is a late summer gathering of long time supporters who got together to put on a great evening to increase awareness of our work in their area of the country. The evening is a little more casual than our other events as it includes a barbeque dinner, silent auction, a band and dancing.
New York is our largest event in terms of attendance and monies raised.
This event usually takes place in early Spring and is always a great party. The evening usually consists of a VIP cocktail reception, a sit down dinner where we honor a Corazon de Oro Award recipient, and then a great party which is open to all with dancing, open bar and a great silent auction.
Hosted by our wonderful friends at Nikki Beach, the Miami event literally happens on the beach. It’s got a flavor all its own. The evening will include an hors d’oeuvre buffet, live and silent auction, open bar and great music. Bienvenidos a Miami!
In early summer, our Seattle committee hosts a cocktail evening with live Cuban jazz. Come join them for a fun party and to meet other Fabretto supporters.
Washington is our U.S. operations main location and home to Georgetown University, where many of the original Fabretto volunteers went to school. Our support comes from all sectors of the city – from the University, to private industry, to governmental agencies and individuals on the Hill. For these reasons, DC’s Night for Niños event is a mainstay of the Fabretto calendar. Like the New York event, the evening will include a VIP reception, an honoree dinner and then a party with live music, dancing, open bar and a great silent auction.
