Welcome to Fabretto!

Our mission is to enable impoverished Nicaraguan children and their families in underserved communities to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential with programs that promote nutrition, health, education, community and character development.

For over 50 years we have partnered with urban and rural communities to provide hope and a better future to the children we serve.

News and Notes
- Fabretto is the only Nicaraguan organization to be named a finalist in the World Bank's 2010 Grant Competition "Development Marketplace - Youth Developing Opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean".  Kevin Marinacci and Rafael Merchan will represent us in Bogota, Colombia  in April for the project presentations and final awards announcements.  February 2010.
- Fabretto receives its second consecutive 4 Star Rating from Charity Navigator, only 20% of organizations successfully do this!  Read the notification letter.  February 2010.
-  Fabretto is approved for a $37,000 grant by Ronald McDonald House Charities. Read RMHC's Press Release! January 2010.
