Our mission is to enable impoverished Nicaraguan children and their families in underserved communities to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential with programs that promote nutrition, health, education, community and character development.

For over 50 years we have partnered with urban and rural communities to provide hope and a better future to the children we serve.

News and Notes
- Volunteers from Roadmonkey Adventure Philanthropy just completed an amazing new playground at our center in Cusmapa!  Check out the YouTube Video about this project and its terrific outcome!
- This month marks the 20th anniversary of death of our founder, Father Rafael Maria Fabretto.  Fabretto students and staff will mark this anniversary with celebrations of his life and selfless dedication to the children of Nicaragua.  March 2010.
- We mourn the passing of Barbara Calandra Moore, former Unites States Ambassador to Nicaragua and Fabretto Children's Foundation Board Member.   Our sincerest condolences to her family.  We will dearly miss her sage counsel, wit, and kindness.  Read her Washington Post obituary.  March 10, 2010.
